The February Friday Night Ruach Dinner was a wonderful success and we owe our thanks to the people that made that happen. Our menu was vegetarian chili, cornbread, brown rice, salad, brownies and grapes with plain pasta for the kids. Seven people gathered to make 4 giant pots of the chili: Melvin and Marty Buck, Yoselin Luzardo and her daughter, Daniela Lopez, Connie Karger, Grant Caplan and Lori Rubin. Paula Grossman and Reva Stern made the cornbread and Teresa Dolney came and helped to clean it all up!
The Friday Prep cooks were: Lena and Marc Malacoff, Valerie Katz, Margaret and Alex Lewis, my mom Phyllis Rosen, and Leah Wolfthal. Lots of people helped to serve. My apologies if I left you out: Vicki Teller, Valerie Katz, Victor Hassid, Samantha Bodner, Vanesa Levi, and several others. The clean-up crew included the Lewis family, Amy Merkin, Lili Stern, Tziona Regev, Sarah Lascar, Lori and Stephan Rubin.

If you are interested in volunteering for the next Dinner (May 17), or for sponsorship, please contact Lori Rubin. Cooking takes place on Wednesday two days before the dinner from 4:30 – 6:30 and on Friday at 5:00 until the service starts and then again afterwards. Clean-up help is always a challenge and appreciated!
